The Shroud of Turin is a powerful aid to prayer because it helps us contemplate the whole mystery of Jesus: His Incarnation, His Passion, His Death, and His Resurrection. In a particular way, it also draws us to prayer before the Body and Blood of Our Lord, and helps us reflect more deeply on the love He poured out for us.

As Blessed Sebastian Valfrè, beautifully said: “The Cross received the living Jesus and gave Him back to us dead; the Shroud received the dead Jesus and restored Him to us alive.”

We hope you will join us in this novena and pray with the Shroud as we prepare our hearts more deeply for the mysteries of Christ.
