Othonia’s “Who Is the Man of the Shroud?” Exhibit Welcomed Hundreds Each Day at SEEK 2026

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Jan. 1–5, 2026) — During SEEK 2026, Othonia hosted its “Who Is the Man of the Shroud?” exhibit and welcomed an estimated 800–1,000 priests, religious, and students each day, with steady crowds from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. SEEK 2026, organized by FOCUS, drew over 16,100 registered participants to Columbus.

More than 500 visitors stopped at the exhibit’s photo booth to explore the Shroud’s photo-negative effect and take a “selfie with Jesus.” Hundreds more entered a T-shirt raffle, and many of those participants are now following Othonia on social media, to continue learning about the Shroud.

The exhibit was also joined by several well-known guests in Shroud and Catholic scholarship, including Fr. Andrew Dalton, a theology professor at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J., PhD, president of the Magis Center, and Joe Marino, a longtime researcher known for detailed work on the Shroud’s 1988 radiocarbon dating.

Othonia thanks everyone who visited, shared feedback, and helped spread the word. Please keep the team in your prayers as the exhibit continues to travel and grow.

To hear one attendee’s perspective, Othonia also shared an interview with Matthew Mork, a senior at University of Kansas, reflecting on what he experienced at the exhibit.
