Nora Creech recently spoke at the Legatus Santa Barbara Summit, introducing attendees to the Shroud of Turin and its importance for understanding the Passion of Christ.

Othonia educator Nora Creech recently spoke at the Legatus Santa Barbara Summit, where she introduced attendees to the Shroud of Turin and walked through some of the historical and scientific details that continue to make the cloth a subject of serious study. In her presentation, Creech emphasized the Shroud as a witness to Christ’s suffering and a tool for deeper reflection on the Gospel accounts.

Legatus is a Catholic organization founded in 1987 by Tom Monaghan to serve CEOs, presidents, founders, and other senior executives who want to grow in their faith and live it more intentionally in their professional and family lives. The group now includes thousands of members across chapters around the United States and describes its mission as forming “Ambassadors for Christ in the marketplace.”

Creech was listed among the speakers at the 2026 Legatus Summit, where presenters addressed topics related to faith, leadership, ethics, and evangelization. Her contribution focused on helping participants better understand the Shroud’s connection to the Passion narratives and why it continues to matter for Christians today.

At Othonia, we are grateful for opportunities like this one, where the Shroud can be presented to audiences seeking to unite faith, reason, and discipleship.
