WHO WE ARE
Othonia is a team of specialists on the Shroud of Turin.
We come from different backgrounds, but we’re all fascinated by the Shroud.
The Shroud challenges you to look with the eyes of both reason and faith. It invites you to “see and believe.”
We want to show you what scientists, historians, and scholars have discovered about the Shroud. What’s more, we want to show you that exploring the Shroud can bring you closer to Jesus.
A Global Center for the Shroud
Othonia Inc. partners with Othonia International and APRA but is not part of the Institute of Science and Faith or APRA.
Our name comes from the Greek word “othonia” that appears in John 20 and means “linen cloths” or “burial cloths.”
Our vision is to become the global center for information and education about the Shroud. We also support ongoing research to enrich your knowledge of the Shroud. We note what’s been scientifically verified and what remains open to speculation.
