Y, sin embargo, su rostro es reconocible al instante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo es posible?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El an\u00e1lisis moderno de im\u00e1genes sugiere que existe una fuente com\u00fan para la forma en que se representa constantemente a Jes\u00fas, y podr\u00eda ser la S\u00e1bana Santa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El arte cristiano primitivo era simb\u00f3lico<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Las primeras representaciones de Jes\u00fas del siglo I consist\u00edan en s\u00edmbolos como un cordero, un pan y un pez. (El nombre griego del pez es ichtus, que tambi\u00e9n es el acr\u00f3nimo de \u201cJesucristo, Hijo de Dios Salvador\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e1s tarde se utiliz\u00f3 la figura humana de un adolescente, el buen pastor, el m\u00e9dico, el maestro y el juez para representar a Jes\u00fas en un estilo cl\u00e1sico, normalmente con el pelo corto y la piel lisa como un dios romano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Luego cambi\u00f3 el estilo (y se extendi\u00f3)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras la legalizaci\u00f3n del cristianismo por el emperador Constantino en el a\u00f1o 313, las representaciones visuales de Jes\u00fas se difundieron r\u00e1pidamente. Comparten los rasgos faciales que hoy se asocian con Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos rasgos son muy similares a los del rostro de la S\u00e1bana Santa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1930, un erudito franc\u00e9s llamado Paul Vignon examin\u00f3 im\u00e1genes antiguas de Jes\u00fas. Identific\u00f3 varios detalles en com\u00fan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Forma de U cuadrada en el entrecejo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tri\u00e1ngulo apuntando hacia abajo en el puente de la nariz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ceja derecha levantada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P\u00f3mulos prominentes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La mejilla derecha algo menos acentuada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agrandamiento de la fosa nasal izquierda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u00ednea de acento debajo de la nariz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hueco en la barba debajo del labio inferior<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cabello m\u00e1s corto en un lado de la cabeza<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el an\u00e1lisis moderno de im\u00e1genes, estas similitudes generalizadas no son una coincidencia.
